The Shenandoah District has been an integral part of the Church of the Brethren Disaster Ministries, providing both volunteer support and funding.  Currently, our district supplies volunteers for one week each month.  Click here for more information on volunteer opportunities for 2010.

The Shenandoah District Disaster Ministries Auction began in 1993 by a group of committed volunteers who wanted to lay a foundation of solid financial support for our denomination's ministry of Disaster Response.  Fifteen years and over two million dollars later, our district's Disaster Ministries Auction has continued to build on that foundation and, along with other districts, supports a program of Disaster Response that provides assistance to victims of war and disaster all over the world.

The 2008 Disaster Ministries Auction raised over $205,200.  Click here for a summary of the auction including pictures and statistics.

The 2009 Disaster Ministries Auction was held on May 15-16 at the Rockingham County Fairgrounds.  Click here for a summary of the auction and proceeds.
