Work Is Progressing

On Utility Building

Earth-moving began Oct. 23 on the site where the Shenandoah District is building a 42-foot by 52-foot utility building adjacent to the District Office to serve our work through Brethren Disaster Ministries. In December, footers and the floor were poured. By Jan. 9, wall framing was in place along with an access door and windows; roof trusses were lowered into place on Jan. 13. Work is progressing! The building will house the vehicles used to support disaster response teams and provide storage and assembly space for clean-up buckets and school, health and baby kits for Church World Service.
